Raymond J. DiCrecchio LAWRENCEVILLE Raymond J. DiCrecchio, 87, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019, at Capital Health Regional Medical Center-Fuld, Trenton, NJ, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Secane, PA, Raymond had resided in Lawrenceville for the past 51 years. A U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, Raymond retired in 2006 after more than 50 years of service in the tire business. He was past senior vice commander of the American Legion Post 414, Lawrenceville, The Legion Baseball Team advisor of V.F.W. Post 3022, and president of the Lawrence Babe Ruth Baseball League. Ray was an avid bowler, he loved his trips to PARX Casino and Atlantic City, but most of all, he loved his family. He loved spoiling his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and loved the yearly vacation to Wildwood, NJ. He was predeceased by his parents, Caesar and Mary Sarlo DiCreecchio; his brother, Caesar DiCrecchio Jr, and his sisters, Rita Tirro, Eleanor Sciotto, Adele Arcangeli, and Rosalie Ukrich. Ray is survived by his wife of 65 years, Elizabeth A. Nasella DiCrecchio; his sons, Raymond E. DiCrecchio Jr. and wife, Nancy, Tom DiCrecchio, and fiancee, Jean Peters; his daughters, Diane Kelly and husband, Tom, and Betsy Kusnirik and husband, Andy; his grandchildren, Ray DiCrecchio (Angela), Anthony DiCrecchio (Megan), Mary Harrison (Bryan), Joseph DiCrecchio (Karen), Nicole DiCrecchio, TJ Kelly (Gigi), Chrissy Raymond (Mike), Michelle Thompson (Zak), Katharine Kusnirik, Andrew Kusnirik IV, Kara Manrique (Kevin), and Robert Kusnirik; his great grandchildren, Kristen, Blaire, AJ, Leah, Everett, Landon, Jack, Ryan, KJ, and Paige, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and neighbors on Hopatcong Drive. Christian funeral services will be held on Thursday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m., at the Brenna Funeral Home, Immordino Chapel, 1799 Klockner Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. The Clergy of St. Ann Church, Lawrenceville, will officiate. Burial will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, Ewing, NJ. Calling hours for family and friends will be on Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 4 to 9 p.m., and Thursday from 9:30 to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. So sorry to hear of the passing of Raymond. Such sweet kind man I had the pleasure of talking to him about his days in Philly and many story's about the baseball field. He will be missed. my condolences to the family.
