Ruth Mulvihill Noren, age 78, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2018. She was born September 1, 1940 in Morris, MN to LuVerne and Eleanor Mulvihill. Ruth loved adventures and in earlier years she served in the Peace Corps in Tunisia. Ruth had over thirty years of experience as a counselor and therapist with children, adolescents, adults and families. She was supportive of all aspects of her client's growth and healing. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Jim Noren, her parents, and an infant brother Peter. She is survived by her siblings Mary (Gary) Draper, John (Kathy) Mulvihill, Jim (Jan) Mulvihill, Lynne (Doug) Johnson and Christine (Alan) Gulsvig, and many loving relatives and friends. Memorials in Ruth's name may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church Endowment Fund. A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Bellingham at 1:30 PM on Thursday, January 17th. A reception will follow at the church. The Rev. Jonathan Weldon will be officiating. You may share memories with the family at www.westfordfuneralhome.com.

Ruth was the sweetest Aunt and made my Uncle Jim a better person. They were so happy together. I really enjoyed visiting with her at holiday events.
