Sara was an unheralded gem of the cast & staff of the Chicago Bar Show (dating back to when it was still called "Christmas Spirits"). She kept us deliciously fed at rehearsals, presided over a B'way-caliber playbill (and brought out the best in those who wrote for it), and expressed her gratitude, in both word and deed, for the program writers' work.
Sara never complained about not getting starring roles. But her subtle wit, sweet voice and razor-sharp acting skills helped her delightfully steal every scene in which she had a speaking or singing line. She was the living example of "the show must go on:" the year she was recovering from surgery she still appeared in the show--even her walker was dressed "in character."
She and Marc (an accomplished working film & TV actor in his own right) were delightful people. Many may not know that Sara was the catalyst for both children and pets finding their "forever homes," cementing the bonds of thousands of Chicagoland familes. To say we miss her is an understatement--and she and Marc are together again in eternity.

Sara and Marc were both dear people. They shared their love and food with us through the years. Sara's memory will be a blessing.
