ELGIN - Timothy Lee Jones, 18, of Elgin died December 27, 2016. He was born December 23, 1998 the son of Gretchen Boren and Island Jones. Tim was a student at Bartlett High School and was graduating this year. He loved to play football and basketball. Timothy is preceded in death by his grandmother Ola Jones and grandfather Lorenzo Jones. He is survived by his mother and father, Gretchen Boren and Island Jones, Godparents Janet and Larry Arlond, brother Jeremy Jones (Special), brother Antwon Jones, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Philadelphia Holiness Full Gospel Baptist Church 76 S. Jackson St., Elgin. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery, Elgin.
