Stan Aplin age 72 of Crestview passed away on April 3, 2019 in Virginia. He was born in Florala, AL on July 12, 1946 to Tommy and Virginia Aplin. Stan worked for many years with Crestview Aerospace and Mobile Aerospace Engineering as an aircraft and structures mechanic. He loved to go fishing and always had a smile on his face. Family was the most important thing to him. Stan was preceded in death by his wife Sandrea and his parents and a brother Rodger Ladon Aplin.
Survivors include his children: Sonya Henneke and her husband Markus and Stephen Aplin; and 5 grandchildren: Cameron and Christian Calfee, Alysa Hickey, Ayonna Aplin, and Keagan Aplin. Also surviving are 6 great grandchildren.
The celebration of Stan's life will be on Saturday April 13th, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Whitehurst-Powell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Liveoak Park Memorial Cemetery. A time of visitation with the family will begin at 11:00 a.m.
