Troy Snow, 59, of Haw River, died Sunday 9/6/2020, at his residence. A native of Alamance County, Troy was the husband of Betty Jo Snow, who survives and the son of Stanley Snow, who also survives and the late Ann Johnson Snow.
In his earlier years, Troy was very active in youth athletics. For several years, he coached youth football teams and was very proud when one of his teams went on to become undefeated champions. As a 1979 graduate of Graham High School, he also served as the captain of the Red Devil football team. He retired from R. H. Barringer Distributing Company.
In addition to his wife and father, Troy is also survived by his two sons, Wesley Snow and Spike Snow, both of Haw River.
The family will receive friends at the Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Graham on Wednesday, 9/9/2020 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. For the safety of all concerned, the family requests that you wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Donations may be mailed to JDRF, 200 Vesey Street, 28th Floor, New York, NY 10281

Jo, we were so devastated to hear of Troy's passing. Met him thru Jeff at Shamrock GC back in the early 80's and he became like a "Cuz" to me. I'm sure Jeff had tee times and a cooler waiting on him Sunday! Prayers to you and the boys.

My deepest condolences to his family. Troy was a personal friend to my oldest son.They played football together in high school and I have many fond memories of their friendship. I think Troy will be remembered for his great personality and love for his family.
