I knew Verna and Stanley when I was a small child. I remember sitting on their laps and always glad when they came to visit. Verna was a friend of my mother, Gracie, since they were very young children. They remained friends all of their lives and it was not unusual to visit my mother and find Verna spending the day with her. Their friendship lasted forever. Verna will be dearly missed but I'm glad she's with Stanley again plus together with my mother and father in heaven.
