Dr. Harmon;

You are truly missed at Renal Clinic. Thank you for your hard work and thank you for all your support through it all. I will be sure to share with my little guy how much you admired his beautiful curls when he was in the NICU. You have marked a lot of souls. Thank you!

Our daughter, Stacy, was a patient of the children's hospital renal team from birth through college. She will be celebrating her 25th anniversary of her kidney transplant this October. Words cannot begin to express our gratitude and thanks for the outstanding care Stacy received under Dr. Harmon's supervision.Today she is living a normal and fulfilling life. She and other former patients truly are Dr. Harmon's lasting legacy. Joan & Stan Waxler

My daughter, Dee Christ, was a patient of Dr. Harmon for many years, seeing her through two transplants. She was heart broken when she aged out and had to go to Brigham and Women's. He gave her an added 25 years which she truly enjoyed. When she passed away three years ago I thought about writing to thank him for the great care, but I didn't. I wish I had. A remarkable man, wonderful and kind Doctor who always gave each patient all the time they needed.

My son, Buddy, had a liver/kidney transplant a BCH. He loved Dr. Harmon! At clinic, they would first compare their iPhones and talk about how they both admired Apple products. He made my son comfortable, relaxed, and reassured, with his dry humor and kindness. We are very sad to hear of his passing, and wishing blessings to him, and comfort to all who loved him. May you R.I.P. Doc!!

Bill was my best Teacher and Tutor during my special renal fellowship at Boston Children's. He was the man who made successful hemodialysis program for Polish children. I will be missing him strongly

To Diana and your daughter and son,

I send my sincere condolences to you at this terribly difficult time, as you try to come to terms with the loss of your husband and father. Words cannot sufficiently convey sentiments of acquaintances who are aware that you are enduring a period of suffering and personal recovery.

Allow yourselves what time it takes to come to terms with this. Be good to yourselves: nurture yourself through it.
Please be in touch if there is anything I can do for you.

Sincere regrets,
Sheila Vernick

Thanks to Dr. Harmon, my son, now 29 is able to follow his bliss. We have been a Pediatric Nephrology family for 21 years.
Dr. Harmon was there for our entire family at every crossroad. The life lessons we have learned under Dr. Harmon's gentle guidance have made ESRD a roadmap for life. We are all better for our experiences. How many people are blessed to be able to life more fully and without regret or sorrow as a result of such a diagnosis in a child?
Thank you Dr. Harmon.
Somehow, I knew you had to be a sailor!

Fondly,
Nancy Clement, proud parent of Michael Clement (Tx12/11/1998)

A huge tree has fallen too prematurely in the forest of pediatrics and pediatric nephrology. Great men will be remembered as such and Bill was one of the greatest as a professor, a physician and as a person. I am proud to add my name to those who will miss him greatly. Hugs and warm sympathy for the family that loved him as much as he loved them.
