Alice Anderson, 86, a resident of Thibodaux, peacefully departed this life on Saturday, December 29, 2018.
Visiting will be held from 9 a.m. until the hour of service at 11 a.m. on Friday, January 4, at Morning Star Baptist Church, Brule Road in Thibodaux. Burial in St. Peter Baptist Church Cemetery.
Alice leaves to cherish her memories, her sons, Clarence Jr., Wilford, Isiah, Alfred (Darlene) and Weslie Anderson (Barbara); daughters, Ophelia Marts and Olevia Holmes, Diana Winslow, Lois Barrio (Richard), Debra Anderson and Tracey Bell (Malcolm); a brother, Rev. Joseph Frank; 44 grandchildren; 97 greatgrandchildren; and 54 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Anderson Sr.; parents, Olevia and Clarence Wright; sons, Lloyd Wagner, Leroy and Ephon Anderson; daughters, Sylvia and Patricia Anderson; brothers, Wesley and Clarence Wright Sr.; and sisters, Beulah Cooks and Rebecca Wright Randolph.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
