Not sure what to say?

I met him in Underground Atlanta around 1975 when we both saw Piano Red . He asked me to sit at his table as I was trying yo find a place to sit. We spoke of jazz and blues . He stated he learned from each artist he encountered. Lucky as I met Mick in Marrakech in 1999 . Both just incredible gentlemen .

Hi Charlie,
It's been a while.
Though this world us lesser without you in it, we all have much more to look forward to later. Thank you for always being there when you were here.
Sincerely, Richard Bray

Hydrangeas for Charlie

Charlie,as a teenager in the early 1960’s I listened to you and the Stones. Thank you for all the years of music. You and the Stones were always there. Now we see how fragile and short life is. In a moment here then gone like the wind stealing our life away. My deep condolence to the watts family and close friends of theirs who mourn deeply his passing. RIP. Bill Harren
