Clarice Cornette
Sturgeon Bay - Clarice Ann Cornette, 72, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on March 12, 2018, at Aurora Bay Care Medical Center in Green Bay. She was born Jan. 30, 1946, in Brussels to Edward and Viola (Renier) Englebert. On Oct. 8, 1966, she married Ervin L. Cornette in Brussels.
Clarice was a long time and active member of Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood where she served on the funeral committee and helped with CCD. She loved spending time and shopping with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, 5 children, Jackie (Jay Neinas) Hoeckendorff, Forestville; Jodi Rass, Sturgeon Bay; Jill (Jerry) Kaye, Brussels; Jayne (Bill) Hayes, Sturgeon Bay; and Jesse Cornette, Sturgeon Bay; 13 grandchildren, Brandon, Mercedes, Kelsy Ann, Joey, Levi, Roy, Austin, Dylan, Kameron, Dakoda, Marshall, Tucker, and Emma; 2 great-grandchildren, Jordan and Zoey; 2 sisters, Noretta (Dan) Kaye, Brussels; and Wendy (Rick) Vlies, Casco; brother Dave (Terri) Englebert, Brussels; sister-in-law, Linda Kinnard, Algoma; 2 brothers-in-law, Lee (Carol) Cornette, Sturgeon Bay; Wayne (Diane) Cornette, Brussels; special God-child, Jenni Burlo; and special friend, Annette Alrand.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law Nancy Brown, 2 great-grandchildren, Dylan and Evelynn Jennerjohn.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, March 16, 2018, at Holy Name of Mary Church in Maplewood. Entombment will be in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum. Friends may call on Thursday at the Forbes Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay from 4:00-8:00 pm and at the church on Friday from 10:00 am until the time of service. A prayer service will be held at 7:30 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
