Constance "Connie" Wiedling
WIEDLING, Constance "Connie" (nee Miller), age 90, of Garfield, died on September 2, 2018. Born and raised in Goshen, NY, she lived in Palisades Park settling in Garfield 69 years ago. Connie was the office manager and dental assistant 35 years for Dr. A.R. Fitzburgh in Garfield retiring in 2004, and she was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Garfield where she was Past President of the Ladies Aide Society, former Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher and Vacation Bible School Volunteer. She is predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Louis C. Wiedling in 2011, and her parents Frances and Walter Kraft. She is survived by three loving daughters, Francine Sterling, Constance Conlon, and Janice Alaimo, 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Visiting Wednesday 4 to 8 pm. The funeral is Thursday, September 6, 2018, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 9 am followed by a 10 am funeral service at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Garfield. Interment George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus. In lieu of flowers the family is accepting donations for Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Garfield. Connie joins Lou at heavens door. Two good Lutherans practicing their faith to guide others in Gods house . They both gave many hours to the Lord .I'm sure God our heavenly father will welcome them both in His house in heaven.
