JEFFERSON – Funeral services for Curtis D. Owens, 55, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Judea Baptist Church with the Rev. Leo Crenshaw officiating. Burial will be in Judea Cemetery under the direction of Lewis & Walker Funeral Home.
Mr. Owens died Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Good Shepherd Medical Center-Longview. She was born Jan. 12, 1956, in Jefferson. Mr. Owens served in the U.S. Army. He worked at Cross Country Freight Services. Mr. Owens was a member of Judea Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Curtis Owens, Cedrick Nelson, and Tramane Nelson; parents, J.B. Owens and Jessie Mae Mack; brothers, Darrell Williams, Claudell Mack, Sr., Stevie Owens, Hardy Owens, Cecil Owens, Larry Owens, and David Owens; sisters, Jennett Williams, Robbie Owens Fields of Cedar Hill, and Amanda Jerrett; and eight grandchildren.
