Eldridge, Edwina Mae "Peach"
1944 - 2020
Edwina Mae Eldridge ("Peach") Born in Columbus Ohio May 12 1944. Died suddenly and unexpectedly on July 30, 2020. She left this physical life in her home with her favorite four legged friend Sade by her side. Missing and mourning Edwina Mae are her kids, grandchildren, family, lifelong friends and any acquaintance that had the pleasure to spend a few moments with her. A resident of Worthington Ohio she adored her community and was a parishioner of Saint Michael's Catholic Church. As a long standing member of the Worthington Art League, she Loved art, creating art and making people happy with her art. However, Edwina Mae's ultimate passion in life was sharing God's LOVE with others. Her passing has left a void in the hearts and lives of those closest to her. With the aid of time and God's mercy, it is our hope that the memories of the Joy and Love she freely shared will overtake and replace our sadness and loss. She spoke often of the angels among us who aid us through life. In her passing, she has received the ultimate promotion. She is now charged with perhaps the daunting but graciously accepted task of looking after those left behind. We love and treasure the life of our mom and friend and will do our best to make her proud. A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday August 13, 2020 10:00 am St. Michael Catholic Church, Worthington, Ohio. In lieu of flowers or gifts, please consider a donation to The Special Olympics in her memory. Arrangements under the care of the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 614-444-1185. I am deeply saddened to hear of my aunt’s passing. We hadn’t been in touch with each other for many years but she is always on my mind. Aunt Peach shared her generosity, care, and never-ending love with me and my siblings all throughout our childhood. Growing up, she and my mother always seemed like the best of friends. Those two would always be comparing recipes, sewing projects and lots of laughter. I’m certain that they’re conspiring together again. Rest in peace, Aunt Peach. You are greatly missed.

Edwina was a very beautiful and gracious lady, both inside and out. I am saddened and shocked to learn of her sudden passing and I am sure she is now resting in the arms of The Lord. May God bless her family with wonderful memories and peace knowing she was so loved by many.

Edwina was a long-time supporter of New Directions Career Center , where I came to know her while serving as Executive Director. She was recognized as one of the Center’s outstanding graduates and a recipient of our “Women of Promise” award. She credited the Center with helping her to follow her passion as an artist, and she generously gave of her time —volunteering to encourage and inspire other women in our programs to achieve their dreams and career goals. Edwina was also generous with her artistic talents—donating several of her paintings over the years to help the Center raise money to support our programs and services. She was a kind, caring and supportive woman. We enjoyed a wonderful friendship for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed.

Dear Family of Edwina. I am in total shock. She and I spoke by phone a week ago. She was full of optimism. Our conversations always included laughter and shared humor. A lovely and beautiful strawberry blonde gal with whom I had the pleasure of friendship. I will treasure an original piece of her art that always reflected hope and happiness. Rest In Peace, Edwina.
