Grandma, I can't believe that on the 18th it will have already been a year since we lost you. I miss you terribly, and think about you every day. I will never forget everything you ever did for me, will always miss our conversations, and just knowing you were always there for me. My little ones miss you; I am sorry they didn't get a chance to know you as well as Brad and Zachary. I hope you're at peace and that maybe someday we will meet again.

Grandma, I hope you know how much you always meant to me; you were like another mother, and I hope you know how much I appreciate all you ever did for me (and my family). You were the one I could always count on, the one who was always there for me, even if it was just to talk. I miss you so much already, knowing I will never see your face or hear your voice anymore, knowing I can't just pick up the phone and tell you how things are going in my life. I know you wouldn't want me to be so sad, and in time it will pass.
I love you and will always remember you.

Eleanor was a friend, mother-in-law and served as a role model to many of us, including my daughter (her grandaughter), Kristen Holmes. We enjoyed many meals, gatherings, and discussions with this truly remarkable woman. She will be remembered as a strong, caring woman who loved reading! Rest in peace, Eleanor. You will always be held in joyful memories with us.

Eleanor was a wonderful mother-in-law and she blessed me greatly in having her become part of my family as I became part of hers. She was always gracious and hospitable to everyone who visited her home. She loved many and will be greatly missed.
