Francine Moran Obituary

Francine A. Moran
Mar 04, 1946 - Mar 13, 2013
Resident of Brentwood
Fran left us earlier than later when her higher power called her to start her next journey. She was an amazing woman. Fran had plenty of grit, determination, loyalty and love to share. She never met a stranger. She loved sharing her childhood memories of growing up in rural Minnesota and considered herself a farm girl, and yet was able to become a classy city girl when she needed too without losing her country charm. She loved animals, cooking, gardening, decorating, reading biographies, museums, churches, and the arts.
Fran excelled at living. Her journey led her to live life to it's fullest. She traveled abroad, took several cruises & loved big or little road trips. By herself she took our RV over the Rocky Mtns and back with her two dogs as co-pilots. She set her foot down in all 50 states. She was an extra in a movie and did a couple of TV commercials. She embraced all religions and studied as many as she could taking a little from each.
Fran leaves behind her husband of 46 years, Wayne, her son Jim, daughter-in-law Rayleen two grandsons Nathan & Joseph. They were the joy & light of her life and they called her "Grandma Puppies". She absolutely loved her sister-in-law Mary and she became "Sis" to Fran. She also leaves behind several nieces and nephews and numerous cousins and friends. She will be greatly missed by one and all.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Friday Mar 22 at "Caps" 144 Oak St, Brentwood CA at 1:00pm.

I was so sorry to hear of Fran's passing. I worked with Fran at LLNL and that time with her some of the best. She had a wonderful sense of humor and gift for bringing people together. She made life enjoyable. May your family find comfort in all the lives Fran touched and your wonderful memories of her.

I was so sad to read about Fran passing away. I spent quite a few years next to her and Linda at water aerobics. She was full of piss and vinegar, never felt sorry for herself. She loved her family, dealt with her health issues and was a good friend to all. I will never forget her spunk and tenacity and friendliness. My heartfelt condolences to her family and close friends.
