Hall, Mrs. Gail, age 75, of Midway, died peacefully at the Southern Springs Nursing Home on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2013.
The visitation services will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home, 110 Martin Luther Blvd., Union Springs, AL 36089.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2:00 p.m., at the Midway Baptist Church, located on Main Street in Midway, Alabama 36053 with Rev. David Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Midway Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing.
Born April 18, 1937 in Roanoke, Alabama, Mrs. Gail Hall was the daughter of Mary Foster Sudduth and Guy Howard Sudduth of Roanoke, Alabama. Gail had lived in Midway since 1957 when she married Sam T. Hall IV. She was a graduate of Auburn University in 1957 with a BS in Home Economics. She was a teacher by profession and enjoyed teaching students for several decades in Bullock and Barbour County schools. She served as a member of Midway Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening, cooking and raising a family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Betty Jane Norred. Survivors include her husband, Sam T Hall IV; her two sons, Samuel Hall and Guy Hall (wife Julie); three grandchildren, Thomas Hall (wife Cheryl), Kim Hall and Lela Hall: two great-grandchildren, Sammy Hall and John Robert Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family asks any donations be made to the Midway Cemetery Association, Inc., 74 Hall Street, Midway, Alabama 36053.
