James CASCIO Obituary

CASCIO, James Edward, 63, of Hendersonville, passed away Sunday, October 28, 2012. Mr. Cascio was a native of Tampa, FL, and a resident of Henderson County for four years. He was a son of Cecilia Cascio and the late James Cascio, Sr. A veteran of the US Marine Corps, James served during the Vietnam War and was awarded one of the nation's most respected medals, the Purple Heart. Survivors include his daughter, Stacie Raasch and her husband, Gary; grandchildren, Rachel and Garren Raasch all of Hendersonville; mother, Cecilia Cascio; sisters, Patricia Giles and Zoila Fernandez; brother, Mark Cascio; nephew, Brian Giles all of Tampa. A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, November 9, 2012, at Blount and Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 West Bearss Ave., Tampa, FL 33618. Military Honors will be held at 1:00 PM at Florida Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. To sign the online register book, please visit www. shulerfuneralhome.com.
