Jane Abbott Obituary

Jane Abbott, 73, of Springfield, Mo., passed away March 15, 2005, in St. John's Regional Hospital. Jane was born in Anacoca, La., to George and Janie Scarber on June 21, 1932. She was united in married June 4, 1953, to James F. Abbott Sr., and to this union four children were born. She retired from Mercy Villa in 1999. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, James F. Abbott Sr. son, James F. Abbott Jr. her parents and two sisters. She is survived by sons, David Abbott of Fordland, Mo., Robert Abbott of Springfield daughter, Kim Abbott of Springfield daughter-in- law, Cheryl Abbott of Springdale, Ark. two granddaughters, Christina and Jamie Abbott, both of Springdale, Ark. and two sisters, Georgia Faye Lexie and husband, Frank, of Leesville, La., and Sue Bushnell and husband, Jim, of Arcadia, Calif. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. today, March 19, 2006, in Greenlawn North. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, March 20, 2006, in the funeral home, with burial following in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
