Ayala, Juan
Juan Ayala, age 82, of Bridgeport passed away into the Presence of the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in his home while surrounded by his loving family. Juan was born in Toa Alta, Puerto Rico before relocating to the Bridgeport area since the 1950s. He is the son of the late Pablo Ayala and the late Paulina Vazquez. Juan is the beloved husband of Maria E. Ayala whom he married over 58 years ago. He was employed for over 25 years with the Rosa del Monte Moving company, but most recently since 1993 until November 2014 he worked as a Crossing Guard. He was also known as a Jack of all trades and would stop at nothing to help his fellow man. A Golden heart stopped beating for sure. In addition to his wife Juan is survived by his two sons Milton J. Ayala and his wife Janet and Nelson J. Ayala; one daughter Myrna E. Reyes and her husband Edgardo Reyes; his siblings Ignacio Ayala and Clotilde Ayala; his grandchildren Gianna M. Ayala, Nelson Ayala, Jr., Edgardo J. Reyes and Yasmine Reyes and her husband Angel Espada; his great grandchildren Adriel Espada, Jaylen E. Reyes, Olivia M. Reyes, Gracie A. Reyes, Agustine Nieves Ayala and Sasha M. Nieves Ayala; and a host of other relatives and friends who will dearly miss him. Friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, May 15, 2015 from 7-9 P.M. at the Funeraria Luz de Paz, (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Ave., Bridgeport; Funeral services have been scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2015 beginning at 8:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Parish; Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport, CT; an online register book and memorial page has been established where you may share your thoughts, memories, prayers, pictures and so much more and is found EXCLUSIVELY at www.luzdepaz.com.

Words can't explain how lucky i was to have a grandfather like you abuelo. You were truly my rescuer. I will always miss you and never forget our special bond. Rest in Peace abuelo you did everything right and can rest knowing that raised a great family.

To the Ayala family. A family that cares so much for each other. Don Juan was always there for his family and he was a very special husband, father and grandfather. he truly was the jack of all trades. He is resting in peace now. God Bless this family.
