Mary C. McNerney of Binghamton went to be with the Lord, Saturday, August 13, 2016. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert J. McNerney in 2001. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Maria McNerney; a grandson, Christopher McNerney; a granddaughter, Cassidy Keith. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Binghamton. Mary enjoyed life to the fullest and loved being around people. A Memorial Mass will be offered at a later date. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. There will be no calling hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Patrick's Church, 9 Leroy Street, Binghamton, New York 13905.

Mary was a favorite of mine when I worked at HSBC. She was quite the lady. I am very sorry for your loss.

Mike,
My deepest sympathies to you and your family on the loss of your mother. I was saddened to have heard the news and will miss her very much.
Mary was such a sweetheart. I enjoyed having a drink with her occasionally at the A.O.H. several years ago and, more recently, visiting with her at the nursing home.
My prayers will be with you all.
