Myrna Muirhead
1934-2017
Myrna Gail (Robinson) Muirhead was born on October 15, 1934 in Danville, LA and passed away peacefully on September 14, 2017 in Houston. Myrna graduated from LSU, and taught at Milby High School until first child Blake was born.
After her children were grown she went back to work, first at Cornelius Nursery creating floral arrangements, then later at Patton's Lamp and Shade Shoppe. She enjoyed gardening, sports, and craft projects, and was an avid reader of mystery novels. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Ruth Robinson, brothers Kenneth Jr. and William, and sister Nell Lynch. She is survived by her three children Blake, Paige and Stuart, daughters-in-law Nancy and Carolyn, and beloved grandsons Adam, Luke and Holden.
A memorial service will be held on October 16, 2017 at 10:00AM at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay Street, Houston Texas, in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Houston Humane Society.
