PETER GARY HENNEMANN
Peter Gary Hennemann, 65, of Benton City, passed away at home on December 22, 2008. He was born in Oakland, CA, to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hennemann. The family moved to Minnesota for a short time, then traveled to the Tri-Cities when he was 8 years old, where his father was a fireman for Hanford. He became a carpenter for the 200 Hanford Site. He was part of the Carpenter's Union 1849 and was involved in the Chief Steward EZAC Safety Committee.
Peter's proudest moment was meeting and marrying his best friend Kathie. He loved to be outdoors and that was so much a part of him. Peter enjoyed fishing, hunting and having his family and friends along his side, especially every moment he could be with his loving wife.
He is survived by his wife, Kathie Hennemann; mother, Shirley Souza; children, Kim and David Hughes, Gary, Sharon and Jeff, Donna, Pete Jr. and Lilly Hennemann, Kalah Main; and many grandchildren. Pete, you will be missed more than you will ever know. I sat this afternoon laughing with your daughters about catching grasshoppers and selling them to grandpa when we were kids. This is just one of the many fond memories I have of your visits to grandma and grandpa's house when I was a kid. I am truly sorry for all the missed moments these last few years, but I never stopped loving you.
