BURKLEY, Shirley Louise Price, age 76 of Tampa, Florida, passed away March 12, 2013. Shirley was born in Columbus, Ohio in 1936. She graduated from Hillsborough High School in 1955. Shirley was affectionately known by all as "Grandma" and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. Burkley; and great-grandaughter, Gabriella Insua. She is survived by her children, John (Theresa), Joseph and David Burkley; sister, Carol Tuten; grandchildren, Amanda (Geoff) Gluck, Freddy Insua and Samantha Burkley; great-granddaughter, Sabrina Insua. And a special thank you to her caregiver Daisy Gutierrez. The family will be receiving friends at Concord Baptist Church 2224 Corrine St. Tampa, Florida 33605 on Monday, March 18, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service beginning at 11 o'clock. After the memorial service a celebration of Shirley's life will be held at The Fellowship Hall of Concord Baptist Church.
