CARIBOU - Susie Mary Walker, 73, loving wife and mother, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, at a Caribou nursing home. Susie was born Dec. 5, 1938, in New York City, the daughter of Guy and Catherine (Tang) Lum. She was a resident of Las Vegas for many years, where she owned and operated Helen and Mary's Family Restaurant. Susie is survived by her daughters, Niki (Walker) Mendez of Avondale, Ariz., and Toni (Walker) Morgan of Las Vegas; and five grandsons, Nico del Casal, Tieo del Casal, Richard Mendez III, Zackery Mendez and Vicente Mendez. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 34 years, Conrad Thomas Walker; her loving sisters, Julia and Mildred; and her brothers. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, at Allagash Baptist Cemetery, 564 Dickey Road, Allagash, with the Rev. John Dik officiating.
