I LOVED IT WHEN ED WOULD COME INTO THE STORE I WORK AT AND WE WOULD VISIT ABOUT THE VOLCANO'S AND THE YELLOWSTONE CALDERA. I EVEN WENT ON ONE OF HIS HIKES UP TO THE PETRIFIED FOREST NORTH OF YELLOWSTONE. HE WAS A GREAT MAN AND WE WILL MISS HIS STORIES.

I feel like a life-long friend has passed on. I really enjoyed growing up with your family in my periphery and in the last 15 years working with you at BYU-Idaho. You left a great legacy. You will be missed.

I loved my geology classes with Brother Williams, when I was at Ricks College in the early 70's. My mid-life crises was to go on his 30th Expedition in 1995 at the age of 43. I stayed with his family on the weekends, when we were back in town. Brother Williams touched my heart in so many ways.

What a gem of a man! We first met Ed and Arlene when we got a fresh Christmas tree at their nursery on Poleline Road some 19 years ago. We took a gardening class from them which we enjoyed and learned so much! And Ed was so resourceful when I had issues with my plants. This spring we purchased a peach tree from him. We have pear, apple, and blackberries from Ed's nursery too. It was always a treat to go to his house in Menan to buy Phoebe Williams tomatoes; he'd show us his gardens and then the wonderful view from his deck. He was inspiring and delightful with good stories and a wonderful green thumb. Our condolences to Myrna and the rest of the family.
