I am so sad to hear of Rick's passing. I was out of town and just saw this. Rick was one of the best guys around. I loved having him on my staff at KPVI. He was the most thorough sales rep I know. I loved our long conversations about anything & everything. He was a truly great man & will me missed. RIP my friend.

Karen and family: So sorry to hear of Ricks passing. I haven't been in contact with Rick for awhile, but I have thought of him often. I could not have asked for a better boss when I was first starting out in radio. I will always treasure those memories of working with him. Rick truly was the "Pilot of the airwaves" Gary Reader

I am saddened to hear of Rick's passing. I will always remember him as a fair and helpful "boss" when I worked on air at KBLI. Being the first woman DJ had it's challenges but Rick was a good listener and a great teacher. My condolences to all of his loved ones and friends. Heaven is a better place to be now that Rick is playing the oldies. Sincerely, Kathi Carver
