I'll say a prayer for my friend Warner ---Dick Harle
November 28, 2017
Our families were very fortunate to be neighbors and friends for many years. My brother, sister, and I grew up with Kathy, Chris, and Donna during a time when neighbors happily supported each other, socialized together, and it seemed front doors were always open to the large number of kids running around the neighborhood.

Warner and Gail have always treated their friends like family; to know them is to know the welcome comfort of a broad smile and the sound of boisterous laughter!

Thank you for your limitless kindness, "Dirty Old Men Weekend" tales, horseback rides, and many years of wonderful weekends at Pine Basin and Snow King Mountain!

Warner - Godspeed! May your "yodel" echo down the slopes and through the trees forever!

Warner and Gail were close neighbors in Idaho Falls in the 60s. My dad hunted with him, and I fished and skied with him and Gail, and my whole family spent many neighborly hours with him and Gail and their kids. We even had a gate that connected our back yards, so we had easy access to each other's home. Circumstances led to my family's departure from Idaho in 1966, but whenever I've had the chance to go back, the Pfaenders were always welcoming. Warner was a raconteur, with a ready laugh and a cold beer to offer. From his obituary, one can see he was an active man who enjoyed life. Rest in peace, Warner, and my deepest condolences to Gail and her children.
