Al was our American cousin. We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet him. Even if it was only once, he made a lasting impression and we will always remember him fondly. Our deepest condolences to his family.

Al's Swedish cousins,

My condolences to Christopher and his family on the death of his father, Al Hallgren. Al was a very warm, kind and respected man in the Stanford community. Our sympathies to his family and friends.

Al, was married to my cousin Marion. There aren't many of us Ciminaro cousins left but those who are can look back on the wonderful family gatherings we had. Even though I was one of the youngest of the cousins I remember Al and his dry sense of humor and his quiet but pointed way of making a point while trying to "stir" the discussion!
