So sorry to hear of BJ's passing. I have many fond memories of her as a neighbor and Girl Scout Camp Director while I was growing up. Sending love and prayers to the family. May her memories bring you peace during this difficult time.

Hi Chuck,
Our condolences on the passing of BJ.
You both gave so much to Boy Scouting in Dutchess County Council BSA, now Dutchess District in Hudson Valley Council BSA.
We hope you are well, and are comforted by the love of your family and the memories of the great things you did as Scouters here in Dutchess.

I am so sad to learn of Mrs. Chase passing. I first met her when Tony invited me for Christmas at their house in Fishkill in 1979. Subsequently, I got to spent more holidays and summers with them. She made me feel like family and as a foreign student, far from home, hers was my home away from home. She was like a mother to me, genuine and sincere with her love and care. I learned alot from Mrs Chase, aside from her Girl scout skills and cooking, her humanity and big heart touched me and made me a better person. I will always remember how she taught me to make the best apple pie crust in the world and every Thanksgiving, I will bake Mrs Chase's recipe. The last I saw her was when she and Mr Chase just moved into the MD home. Last summer, I had a quick chat with her when I visited Tony in Buffalo. She was as bubbly as ever and always very caring. Rest in peace Mrs. Chase, and may you be among angels. Love always.
