Another Pawling Person who lives in our memories. I remember going to the 5 & 10 with my Mom and brother, when things actually cost 5 and 10 cents! "Trading" a few dimes, nickels, and pennies for something wonderful.
The best part was my Mom always enjoyed chatting with Hazel and didn't rush our decisions.
Condolences to Jay and family.
