Dear Mrs Scanlon and Family,
We are so sad to hear of your loss. Mr. Scanlon was an incredibly special person. I remember him as such a wonderful religion teacher that I was blessed to have and dear friend to our parents and family. I remember fondly his presence at our annual Christmas parties and other Hyde Park gatherings. He was always interested in engaging in conversation with us younger folks. Big hugs to you all and sending prayers and thoughts to each and every one of you. Much love - Maureen (Donohue) and Vince Aurigemma

Dear Mrs Scanlon, Tara and Family, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Mr. Scanlon. I have some very fond memories of him while growing up in Hyde Park including: learning how to play chess for the first time and practicing for hours with Tara, Indian Princesses, skiing and sleigh riding with your family. He was a fantastic skiier! I also remember when he was the leader of our Catholic church youth group for one year. He was so effective in getting everyone to actively participate and he always maintained his sense of humor!

I will keep Mr. Scanlon in my prayers...

Love,

Kim Dunfee Reer

Our condolences to Jean and family. We just read of John's passing in the Poughkeepsie Journal. Thoughts of golf, poker games, raising our children and good times quickly erupted and then we prayed that he may rest in peace. May God be with all of you. Bob and Vicki Kampf
