My wife and I met Joe several years ago as members of the Milford Yacht club and considered him one of our best friends at the club-we would talk football mostly Browns and Vikings, talk about business and life in general- his wisdom and knowledge was always appreciated -his stories were very interesting and we will never forget him.-with tears in my eyes-I will say good-bye to my friend Joe- we will miss you-RIP-my condolences to all his family members-unfortunately we will be going away and can't be there for the service-but the memories will be cherished forever-thank-you for all your advice- we listened and learned-you probably are about to tee-off for the 1st time in a long time so keep your head down and don't over-swing-your good friends-Ted & Laura Smith

Joe was one of the first people I met in Palm City 15 years ago. While not a sailor, we were able to share many stories about the Chesapeake Bay and the many sailing communities that dotted both shores. Joe always had a note of good cheer and offered wisdom on any subject. He will be missed.
