One of the main reasons I looked forward to events in Trumbull with my cousin and the boys was knowing Kevin would be there. He was a genuinely interesting man. I always felt a little better after spending time with him. My condolences to all who loved him.

Lost one of my lifelong best friends today. Rest in peace I am grateful that we reconnected in last year after a long period where we rarely spoke, but sadder that we were not able to get together soon as we planned. I'll miss you Kevin and never ever forgot you and all the fun times we had. From roomates in Stamford , coworkers at Waldenbooks HQ and many great years hanging out in the City, Yankee WS games Kinks concert and the Packers title game in Greenbay!!! My best man and Michael's Godfather. Kevin Cassone.

I met Kevin back in the early 1980s when we were both at Waldenbooks in Stamford, working in the IT department. Fresh out of college, those were crazy times and I recall some great parties at the house on Leon Place, the baby raccoon he adopted until it got a little "too playful". His cherished classic Mercedes Benz... We formed a company together, The Phoenix Tech Group and sold a utility product called TheBASE (pronounced thee-base). That resulted in around 600 developer customers scattered from Australia, to Wales and throughout North America. Fun times for sure. Sadly, Kevin and I drifted apart and it's been close to 16 years since we last talked.

I am deeply saddened that his gentle soul is no longer with us. He was a fun-loving and caring person and I know he will be missed. He lives forever in our hearts.

My condolences. Kevin had a generous spirit about him!
