Anthony DiMattia
FISHKILL - Anthony R. DiMattia, 77, an area resident since 1955, died on July 19, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Summit Hill, PA on December 16, 1939, he was the son of the late Alfonso and Edith (Colli) DiMattia, Sr. Anthony had been employed by IBM in East Fishkill until his retirement. He was a member at John 3:16 Christian Center in Verbank.
On May 18,1963 in Torrington, CT, Anthony married Claudia (Verlato) DiMattia. His wife of 54 years survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter, Michele Marina and her husband Richard of Cold Spring; his son, Mark DiMattia of Beacon; his siblings and their spouses, Ada and Albert Fonteneou, Rita and Jim Langevin, Helen Orach, and Alfonso and Marge DiMattia, Jr.; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10am - 12pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home followed by entombment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.

To Claudia and family: It is with sadness I send this note of condolence to you. If you remember, Tony and I worked in Production Control in Fishkill. At one time we shared the same office and shared many funny situations together.....There aren't many of us left from Departments 562 and 544, however we were a close knit family who helped each other. My deepest sympathy is with you Claudia during this sad time.. Please keep well and I will keep you in my prayers.....
