Red Hook - Catherine Paccione, 91, of Rhinebeck and formerly of Newburgh, passed away on Thursday, November 24th, 2016 at The Baptist Nursing Home in Rhinebeck, NY.
Born on September 1, 1925, in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Gogarty) Tierney. Catherine married William V. Paccione and he predeceased her on December 21, 1983.
She is survived by her children, William (Mary) Paccione of Red Hook, NY, Grace Lewis of Cornwall, NY, and Michael (Marie Randazzo) Paccione of Pine Bush, NY; her siblings, Charles Tierney of Bronx, NY, and Grace Fiala of Grand Rapids, MI; her loving grandchildren, Katie (Jorge) Icasuriaga, William Paccione, Patrick (Marina) Paccione, Timothy Paccione, Anne Paccione, Eileen Paccione, James Tuttle, and Brianna Lewis; three great grandchildren; along with extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a brother, George Duffy.
The family of Catherine Paccione would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the Staff at the Baptist Home for Catherine's care.
Calling hours will be private, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29th, 2016 at St. Christopher's Church, Red Hook, NY. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
Memorial donations may be made in Catherine's memory to the St. Christopher's Church, 7411 S. Broadway, Red Hook, NY 12571.
