Jane V. Moffat
BEEKMAN - Jane V. Moffat, 95, of Poughquag and formerly of Ridgefield, CT and North Salem, died on July 24, 2017 at Lutheran Care Center.
Born in New York City on March 5, 1922, she was the daughter of Thomas and Margaret (Kavanaugh) Coady. Jane had worked as an EKG Technician at Putnam Hospital Center. She had been a parishioner of St. Mary's Church in Ridgefield, and volunteered in the Ridgefield Thrift Shop.
Jane is survived by her children and their spouses, Christine and Wayne Travelpiece, and Robert and Mary Jude Moffat; her son-in-law, Joseph Chiaramonte; her grandchildren, Kate Farmer, Ryan Travelpiece, Michael Chiaramonte, Alison Chiaramonte, Mark Moffat and Kevin Moffat; and her five great-grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by her husband, Mark L. Moffat, and her children, Mark E. Moffat and Jane Chiaramonte.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 9:15am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
