I recall meeting Sal as fifth grader,in 1965 while participating in the St. Mary's of Wappingers Falls CYO basketball program. Sal was coach in our Small Fry program. He tried to instill in us a good education. He was great Church commentator as well. My Dad knew him from IBM and the Church. They both coached in the basketball program. I pray for Sal and his family.

My deepest sympathy to Sal's family. I worked with Sal for many years at IBM and during that time I got to know him as a engineer, a person, a friend. He was also one of the mainstream attendees at the annual IBM retires meeting at the Pirate Canoe club. He always did what was in front of him with vigor and with personal attention. Knowing Sal I'm sure he will be looking down at all his family with a smile, look up and say hello. Rest in peace my friend.
