Steve and your family gave me so many wonderful childhood experiences and memories. I attribute my love for the outdoors to Steve and thank him for 'adopting' me as his 4th daughter! My deepest sympathies to all of you. All my love - Kelly

You raised three beautiful girls into classy ladies, taught them to enjoy life with many family vacations. Rest in peace your job is complete.

My deepest condolences on the passing of your Dad.
November 26, 2016
Words cannot express my sadness or explain how fond I was of your Dad (and Grandad). You are all in my prayers and it is my hope that the memories of your incredible father, and the many special things you did with him, will give you a degree of comfort.

He was such a truly special person whose passion for life was one of abundance, and energy. As a young girl spending countless hours in your home, I can still hear your door from the garage to the house opening as your Dad returned home from work,
began to greet everyone and take stock, as only a Dad who loves deeply and wants the best for his family does. I remember him playing his guitar and singing "Blowing in the Wind" with such passion, that to me that song became his, and I think of him whenever I hear it. I remember him kindly tolerating our tree house built up high very visible in a backyard that he took great pride in. And I will never forgot that during those growing up years he found words of encouragement for me, that meant a great deal to me. From the Gore Mt, to the beach,I have countless other treasured memories of your Dad when we were growing up and I will always remember him.

So too will my family because in more recent years we would stop by to see him periodically when in Colorado. My boys, Vladimir and even my mother in law enjoyed his kind hospitality and were deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

For me seeing and keeping in touch with your Dad was a pleasure in itself, but it was made even more so as he talked about you three girls and your children all the time, and with such loving pride. It was quite touching to see and hear, and is yet another reason I will always remember your Dad.

May the love of one another and the sharing of your memories comfort you in moments of grief, and may you find strength as you celebrate his life and legacy.
