Dave was always around to help others instead of himself (NYSVet's home), and his always being part of the Honor Guard was appreciated by so many of us. We'll miss you, Dave.

How about that screwball! Hey screwball you got your ears on? This is the White falcon KABO6913 c'mon back! That's how I met Dave back in the 70's through the CB radio, and he had one heck of a way of shouting back at ya definitely a unique guy. I was to his home a few times over the years and we eventually drifted apart. I occasionally bumped into him at the VA in Binghamton and Syracuse and when I did I'd yell out breaker break how about that screwball one time c'mon back and he'd turn around in that wheelchair with a big ole grin! Those were the days my friend, those were the days. RIP my brother! RIP

David was always cheerful and kind to us at First Ward Senior Center. Our hearts are saddened by your loss and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
