WHIRTY, CARLOTTA ADELE
89, passed away peacefully at her home on Great Island in Narragansett on February 17th surrounded by her loving daughters, Sandra, Tracey, and Beth and her loving son Mark. She was the wife of the late Richard Whirty and the mother of the late Christopher Whirty and Richard Whirty. She was the loving sister of the late John Savage and Frank Savage and is survived by her adoring sister, Susan Hunt of Baton Rouge. Carlotta is survived by her children, Sandra Clark, Tracey Maron, Beth Suedmeier, Mark Whirty and six loving grandchildren. She would have celebrated her 90th birthday on March 3rd. Carlotta lived a fascinating and interesting life. She was a compassionate, cerebral woman who possessed a great sense of humor and integrity. She was a voracious reader with a special love of historical fiction. She became a great enthusiast of football over the past ten years and would watch as many NFL games as possible while poring over her statistical data. In her professional life, She was the administrator of Kelly Services and a broker for Lila Delman Realty. She had a special love for her native California. Carlotta will always be remembered for her loyalty, compassion, care and unconditional love of her children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, Carlotta would appreciate donations to
