I did not know Roger however knew Bob his son. Bob has been a good friend for many years and I have always appreciated Bob as a great person. Sometimes the best reflection of a man is his family, Bob I am sure made his father proud every day, or at least every other day:)

I have the fondest memories of being a student in Mr. Ferland’s sixth grade class at East Avenue School in 1957-58. I am deeply sorry for the loss you all must be feeling at this time, but I am glad to know that Mr. Ferland had such a long and happy life. May his memory be a blessing....always.
Sincerely,

Dearest Barbara and the Ferland family, Lorne and I are deeply saddened to learn of Roger's passing. Roger will be remembered by both of us as a kind and loving man who welcomed us into the family as one of his own. We will always remember fondly the many summer vacations spent in Ocean Park and all of the happy hours he hosted at the Sea Konk. The July 4th celebrations, Labor Day weekend get-togethers and the many hours spent with him at the beach hold a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace, Roger. You will be remembered lovingly forever and always. Lorne and Rhonda
