Arlene you were always good to me . In my times of struggling to choose the higher road n not act out ...just speaking to you would set me back on track . You always seemed to understand ....you would listen n nodd saying mmmhmm I know , I know ,n then hit me with a verse n the most sensible solution . Your heart was pure n you could just see the peace you carried within yourself . Missing you brings sadness yet remembering you brings love n happiness to me ! Rest in paradise ! Love you

Arlene was my Assistant Teacher at 232nd Place Elementary School for five inspirational years. She was truly a passionate teacher and cared so much for all of the students as if they were her own. She worked on earning her credential to be a teacher in her PALS preschool program for over ten years. She earned her credential and was hired as a PALS teacher at Normont Elementary School. She was not only an exemplary teacher but a great friend as well. You are truly missed Arlene and I know you are in Heaven now! My thoughts also go out to all of her family members as well. It was an incredible honor to know and work with her wonderful soul.
