April Julia Basile passed away on Friday, June 19, 2020 of heart failure. She was born on March 6, 1976 in Brownsville, Pennsylvania. She is survived by her father John Paul Basile and her husband Paul Beam, of Pahrump, Nevada. She was predeceased by her mother Tammy Marie Assad and her grandparents.
April earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2007 and a Master of Science degree in Law and Public Policy from the California University of Pennsylvania in 2012. She went on to obtain her license to practice substance abuse counseling in the state of Nevada. She worked hard to achieve her dreams and worked ten times harder to keep her loved ones safe and happy. She devoted her life to helping individuals, children and families who suffered from substance abuse and mental health disorders.
Her passion and will to succeed and overcome any obstacle led her to successful business ownership of a substance abuse and mental health clinic in a rural community. She strived to help make a change for the better in the lives of anyone who came through her door. She had a connection with people that they could feel the second they met her.
April put her heart and soul into everything that she did. She had a quirky spunk and spirit and never let anything get past her. She had a fire inside of her that would light up a room and the ability to make others smile in their worst moments. When not working she loved to spend time with her devoted husband, father and family. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her pets, drinking Diet Mountain Dew, napping and swimming. She loved being by the water so much so that her favorite color was blue and she had dreams of one day owning a beach vacation home.
April was a loving devoted daughter, wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She always took the reins and cared for everyone around her and put her family above all. She loved her husband more than life itself and loved spending every second she could with him. She was always loved, will be forever missed and never forgotten.
