Mary Ann (Moxley) Bono, 79, of
Wyomissing, passed away January 12, 2019, at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
She was the wife of Joseph J. Bono; they were married on August 17, 1968.
Born in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary A. (Dunn) Moxley.
Mary Ann was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School, Pittsburgh, Pa., in 1957 and St. Francis University, Loretto, Pa., in 1961.
She was a teacher for West Mifflin North High School and Abington High School. Later, she was a substitute teacher for various high schools throughout Berks County.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Ignatius Loyola Roman Catholic Church, Whitfield.
She enjoyed book club and her needlework group, and was also an avid bridge player. Above all, she loved her
family; she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Dr. Bartholomew R. Bono, Lower Merion, Christopher C. Bono, Shillington, and Daniel J., married to Fara Bono, Marlboro, N.J.; and four grandchildren: Aidan, Mathilda, Hannah and Jacob. Two siblings, C. Raymond, married to Cecelia Moxley, The Woodlands, Texas; and Karen L., married to George McKenna, Bala Cynwyd, Pa., also survive her.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church, 2600 St. Albans Drive, Sinking Spring, Pa. Friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church.

Mary was a member of her Book Club. She always had thoughtful addition to the conversations. She loved her children and grandchildren. I shall miss her very much.
