Margarita Gonzales Aguilar, 90, was called to be with our Lord and Savior on February 18, 2021. She was born on June 10, 1930 in Nueces County to Francisco and Juanita Enrriques Gonzales. She was a Catholic, a homemaker and a longtime resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. Margarita was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend who will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Refugio Aguilar; her son, Refugio Ramon Aguilar; her brothers and sisters, Esperanza Guerra, Francisco Gonzales, Jr., Guillermo Gonzales, Fernando Gonzales and Manuel Gonzales; and a granddaughter, Anna Aguilar.
She is survived by her children, Maria Aguilar, Jose (Dinah) Aguilar, Rosa Villanueva, Juan (Belinda) Aguilar, Ted (Sandra) Aguilar, Javier (Tracy) Aguilar; daughters-in-law, Maryann Aguilar an Shirley Smith; her siblings, Maria G. Morales, Consuelo G. Nava and Gloria G. Stergius. She was also loved and adored by her twelve grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
A rosary will be recited at 7pm on Tuesday, March 02, 2021 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wednesday, March 03, 2021 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostle Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial will follow to Rose Hill Memorial Park in Corpus Christi, Texas.
