J. Gary McGuire aka McFinger
Lake California, CA
It is with the heaviest of hearts to announce the passing of J. Gary McGuire a.k.a McFinger. Born on April 29, 1935 in Bell, California and passed on February 11, 2018 at his home in Lake California with his special lady, Sonya Bell. He left behind a grateful family of six kids, Timothy McGuire, Cindy Adams, Michael McGuire, Laureen Brenning, Kimberlee Winterburn, Eric McGuire and their spouses. Along with 20 grandkids and a boat load of great grandkids, his sister Carolyn J. McGuire, his brother Bill Saxelby and preceded in death by brother Jim Saxelby. He changed everyone's life that he encountered, many times just by his infectious smile and Irish humor. His motorcycle was more than a hobby but a passion he loved to share with others. House boating became a family tradition at the hands of this amazing man and will continue to do so with him in our hearts. We welcome all who had the chance to know this unforgettable Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Friend to celebrate his life at 2 pm, Saturday, February 17 at Ono Grange, 11920 Platina Rd, Ono, California. There will be a potluck meal following the celebration so please bring your favorite hot dish, salad, or dessert.
