LANDRETH, John Lewis
John Lewis Landreth, 95, died October 26, 2012 in Sandy Spring, Maryland. Born May 19, 1917 in Whittier, he was the son of Thomas Chart Landreth Sr. and Alyne King Landreth.
Mr. Landreth was a graduate of Whittier Union High School, the United States Naval Academy, and Pasadena Playhouse. He was a Pearl Harbor and D-Day survivor. He had made his
career in the audience measurement field where he helped pioneer the company Arbitron.
