I haven't seen Rich since OHS graduation. He was an all-around great guy. I'm sure his family loves him very much and will always miss him. A loss to be gone so soon. Prayer and good vibes' to all he has left behind.

My dearest best friend RICH. Prayers & healing to ALL specially the FAMILIES. A glimpse of some treasured moments. He would have wanted us to laugh. One time in P.E. we were getting ready for the OBSTACLE COURSE. 1st Obstacle the dreaded WALL!!! There was a heavy kid on top hanging. I was next in line, Coach yell's "someone help him". Rich yell's back "Ed will". Coach yell's again "Benveniste thank you for volunteering". Rich walks by me, i gave him a gotcha smirk. The heavy kid was falling, Rich get's behind gives a hard push. The kid let out the biggest fart. Ka-Boom, Rich falls on his butt looks right at me. I yelled fartface, He got up so fast and chased me all over the field. Coach & everyone couldn't stop laughing. One summer day at Newport Beach. We were walking ankle deep. Our friend say's "Omg!, check out those babes". Rich responded "what do you want to do?". Our friend say's " lets run & dive in front of them". Then I asked him "which one do you like?". Just as he was pointing Rich & I looked at each other, we both shook our heads. We began trotting like studs then started to sprint splashing water. Just when we got in front of the girls, Rich & I stopped, our friend Dove, it was shallow. His head got stuck in the sand & feet was sticking out of the water. The girls ran laughing their butts off. We went on many adventures & road trips. All pales in comparison to that fateful night at Pasadena Rosebowl parade. I witness Real Love at 1st sight with my best buddy. When he laid eyes on his wonderful wife Andrea. He was deeply in love & talked about you endlessly. Thank you for Giving & Making a Good Family man out of my beloved friend & brother. Godbless that he is no longer in pain resting in peace. One sweet day we will ALL meet again.

Richard lit up a room with his wit, his honesty and his love. We feel so fortunate to have gotten to know him better these past few years. So many laughs! His spirit and his light will live on. What a blessing he was.

Just gotta say, this is the first time I've seen this specific picture of Rich. It may be the best picture I've ever seen of him. Thank you.
