Bill hired me at Ladd's in Farmington, it was my 1st real job at 15. He was a character and taught me quite a bit - which was a challenge, I am sure. He had suck a great smile that countered his all-business look that he opted for most of the time. Every time he complimented my work it really meant something to me. Great guy.

Bill Ladd has been our neighbor since forever. We were a close knit neighborhood and some of our best memories were when we all visited with each other in the evenings. It was always so much fun visiting with Bill. Those were the days! Bill was a wonderful and caring person, a neighbor you could always count on. He had a big, nice garden and always shared his tomatoes, ect.. with us. We were always welcome to walk over to the picnic table on the patio and help ourselves to whatever we wanted. Everything always looked and tasted great! He always loved keeping his yard and garden nice and neat and he was so proud of it. Bill was a kind, generous, and polite friend with a great sense of humor. He will always be remembered as the best friend and neighbor we ever had. God rest your soul Bill.....we will miss you.....
